About Gourmet Impressions Inc.

Gourmet Impressions, Inc. was founded by Rich Errera who as a teenager, once worked in a Brooklyn, NY pizzeria with a burning question. "If one can create messages on cakes, why not on other foods?" Rich had a simple, but exceptionally clever idea and years later developed the means to easily accomplish this task. He invented, patented, and manufactured several embossing and impressing tools that would enable even a child to create messages and images unto over 40 tested foods. The Gourmet Impressions Stamper is the first food and impressing tool of its kind in the world, and the first in a line of many more to follow.

Although child's play and can be used in the home, the main objective is to enhance the dining experience while providing a unique and effective means to enhance corporate marketing campaigns. The products that perform the embossing are primarily targeted to fast food, restaurant chains, catering companies, and institutional food service. The products also appeal to independent restaurants, and home chefs. Anyone, anywhere, from professional, to the novice (in any language – including Braille), can soon present, serve, or display many foods like never before.

Rich Errera commissioned the services of exo Design - a California based Industrial Design and Product Development firm to professionally bring his visions to reality. Exo Design has been the recipient of five Industrial Design Excellence Awards from the IDSA and Business week Magazine. Exo Design has developed dozens of products, and product strategies, for companies ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Exo was given the task of bringing Mr. Errera's product inventions to life. Exo provided complete product development services including product design, mechanical engineering, product testing, marketing consulting, graphic design, and web development.

Shortly afterwards, Rich Errera acquired Patents Pending Status for "The Stamper", the first of more food embossing and impressing products to follow in the Gourmet Impressions, Inc. line.

Gourmet Impressions,™ Inc. has more remarkable food embossing products under development which will be introduced in the near future. Individualized letters will enable the user to personalize messages of choice on the spot.
