Gourmet Impression? LLC was founded in 2002 by Rich Errera. Mr.
Errera is President of Benlynn, Inc - a New York headquartered
numismatics firm.
In January of 2002 Rich had a simple, but
exceptionally clever idea: Embossing foods with messages and images.
The objective is to enhance the dining experience while providing a
unique and effective means to enhance corporate marketing campaigns.
The products that perform the embossing are primarily targeted to
fast food, restaurant chains, catering companies, and institutional
food service. The products also appeal to independent restaurants,
and home chefs. Anyone, anywhere, from professional, to the novice
(in any language ? including Braille), can soon present, serve, or
display many foods like never before.
In June of 2002, Rich
Errera commissioned the services of exo Design - a California based
Industrial Design and Product Development firm. Exo Design has been
the recipient of five Industrial Design Excellence Awards from the
IDSA and Business week Magazine. Exo Design has developed dozens of
products, and product strategies, for companies ranging from
entrepreneurial start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Exo was given
the task of bringing Mr. Errera's product inventions to life. Exo
provided complete product development services including product
design, mechanical engineering, product testing, marketing
consulting, graphic design, and web development.
In August
of 2002 Rich Errera acquired Patents Pending Status for "The
Stamper" and "The Roller", the first two products in the Gourmet
Impression? LLC Line.
"In September of 2002, he registered
Trademarks for the company name and logo for Gourmet Impression?
LLC. In addition, the name Pizzal ? (pronounced Pee-zell) was
invented and registered.. Since "food embossing" is an entirely new
category of advertising, brand identity, or imprinting mere messages
and graphics on foods, a word had to be invented to describe the new
product. Therefore, the word " Pizzal ? " was invented. A Pizzal ?
is any embossed food . |
